For their two most recent construction projects, the psychiatric hospital Bethanië of the vzw Emmaus in Zoersel received new and adapted furniture for the mental healthcare institution. For example, the common spaces of the annexe were tackled and a new building was built near the main building.
For the annexe, the furniture in the communal areas has been renewed. Solid Pure Curve tables and Elane chairs were chosen, as well as seating areas with Nestor chairs. The sturdiness and removable seat make this a suitable piece of furniture for mental health care. The oak coffee tables, built-in cabinets and decoration create a soothing whole in harmony with the nature around the building. The rooms were also fitted with new furniture, such as a BRP bed or Formidabel Pro bed, depending on the resident. An Echo reclining chair completes the room.
Ergonomics in healthcare
Not far from the main building there is now a beautiful new building where wooden vaults play the main role. The combination of fresh colours, large windows and sturdy seats, tables and chairs is a successful concept. Here you will find in the rooms the Due bedside table, in the living room the Navis cabinet and ergonomic furniture in the meeting rooms and offices.
